Yeah, it’s me, you might be wondering what’s this “Blog This Jason” blog all about! 😉 So let me tell you about myself and why this blog?

I’m just a regular guy, happily married to my beautiful wife Johanna and living the dream in Spain with two kids and two dogs (Jasper & Faustino). [EDIT] Hugo our baby boy born August 2021

The journey all started for me 30 year’s ago when I left home in the UK and moved to Spain to do my dream job and became a Scuba diving instructor. Scuba diving was a hobby and passion and I couldn’t believe that I was actually being paid to do something I loved doing. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t always easy and many sacrifices were made along that journey. But looking back I wouldn’t change a thing 😊.

Fast forward to the late 90’s and I found a new passion of Snowboarding in the beautiful Pyrenean mountain ski resorts of Andorra. Now that was a life and one big party (if only I had had this blog back in those days) that would have been one hell of a blog to share 😉

Over the next 10 years or so of living the dream between the beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava and the stunning snow capped mountains of Andorra, I truly met the most amazing people anyone could have wished to meet. A few became lifelong friends. Which if I look back on now, I honestly believe was a pivotal and defining moment of my life. Because without those certain lifelong friends the next chapter and journey in my life would have been quite different.
